My 86 yr old Dad passed away on April 4th 2023! I had never lost anyone before, that close, and didn’t know the first steps to take dealing with all that went with a death! However, prior to his passing, I felt in my heart, that when the time came, I would be contacting Libby funeral home and cremation! There were no recommendations. I just took it as a gift from God, who knew before me that Joe would be the honest, understanding, kind, and helpful soul, I would need while setting things in order! I thanked him over and over again for the beautiful way he lead and guided me through a sad time, and one in which I had no knowledge! I walked in stressed but walked out with such peace!!!! God bless you and thank you, Joe and the Libby staff!!!!!
Recently, our beloved Aunt Arax died in late April in Manhattan. This was a little complicated because of the distance between NYC and LA. Joe was incredibly efficient, professional and understanding. Libby Funeral and Cremation Services took care of all the details. Arax was cremated promptly and her ashes sent to my son who lives in California within a week. Joe also helped us with the Death Certificates which were also received in a very timely manner. He was always available and and answered our questions thoroughly, with kindness and understanding. Under difficult circumstances, I could have asked for no better service. Libby Funeral and Cremation Services has my highest recommendation.
We had a wonderful experience with Joe. His patience, composure, experience, and compassion helped us through the two weeks immediately following our sudden loss. He took care of many details for us and respected our vision for the service. We appreciate that we and our loved one were well cared for in a time of great pain and shock, and we'll always remember that. Thank you, Joe.
H!!! We had the honor and privilege of working closely with Joe. This was the most painful time in our lives because of my uncle Rene's 'Scout' untimely death. What truly amazes me is when things got extremely explosive, how Joe helped keep things calm. He, Joe, catered to each of our needs individually. Thank You, Joe, for your ability to help us when emotions of pain and sorrow are what's leading the way. Allowing us to vent and then helping us to become grounded before making any final decisions.
