Richard G. Johnson

Richard G. Johnson, a former resident of the Crystal House Manor Home in Dover Plains, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7,2022 at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care Hospital – Montrose Campus in Cortlandt Manor, NY; he was 83 years old. Richard was born on November 25, 1939, son of the late Donald Johnson and Viola May.

Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era from December 19, 1956 to August 31, 1961; upon which he received an honorable discharge for his service.

Richard leaves behind no-family, but the friends he made at the home and the Montrose VA Hospital. He will be laid to rest among fellow military comrades, all are welcome to join for the Graveside Service of Military Honors on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:45 AM in the Veterans Section of the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
