Michael Paul Kracht

Michael Paul Kracht, affectionately known as “Mikey”, a resident of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Newburgh, NY, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2022 at his home; he was 43-years old. Michael was born in Newburgh, NY on November 19, 1978, son of the late Paul Kracht and Genevieve Squilla.

Mikey had an avid love for reading, sketching, and most importantly being with his family. He was well known for his big heart; he was always there to lend a helping hand when he could. Michael worked various jobs throughout his life.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Lizabeth M. Pond of Albany, NY, as well as his granddaughter Kensley R. Barr. Michael is also survived by his sisters, Ashley Kracht and Jessica Kracht, and his brother Matthew Kracht; as well as nine nieces & nephews.

His Family is requesting time to grieve private & quietly. There will be a private cremation, with no-viewing. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY 12508 845-831-0179
