Madeline Carol Jones Nonnon

Madeline Carol Jones Nonnon, a resident of Dumfries, VA, formerly of Beacon, NY, transited Home to the Lord on April 23, 2021 at the Sentara Hospital in Woodbridge, VA; she was 61 years old. Madeline was born on May 16, 1959 in Orange County, VA, daughter of the late James Jones and Ollie Porter. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her grandmother Marlena Murphy. Madeline was educated in the Beacon City School District, graduating from Beacon High School. She was employed with Nabisco for several years. Madeline relocated to Dumfries, Virginia where she was employed by Shoppers Grocery until she retired. She was later was employed at the local Harris Teeter Supermarket, where she worked until her passing. Madeline leaves behind to mourn, her 3 sons: Tamal and Samar Corbett of NY, and Rogelio A. Nonnon of Dumfries, VA; Her 3 grandsons Shalin, Deondre and Trevon. She also leaves to mourn, her 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Marion Groover of Beacon, NY; Aletha (Gerald) Williams of Buffalo, NY; Janice Jones of Alexandria, VA; and Della Porter of Gastonia, NC; Edward Porter of VA; Andrew (Michelle) of Tampa, FL. She leaves also a very special aunt, Sara Murphy of Orange, VA; and 16 nieces & nephews, 17 great-nieces & great-nephews and a host of cousins, relatives & friends. Her Family & Friends will gather from 9:00AM to 10:00AM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a Funeral Service will be held 10AM, followed by interment in the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.
