John Secure, Jr.

John Secure, Jr., formerly of the Inwood section of Manhattan, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY; at the age of 73. He was born in New York, NY on October 6, 1949, son of the late John & Sarah (Beracha) Secure Sr.. He attended the Good Shepherd Catholic School in New York, NY.

John was a very simple man, and enjoyed the simplest of things; he enjoyed being around his family, and indulging in a big bowl of ice cream. He will be remembered for being a brother & uncle.

John is survived by his loving sisters, Marilyne Natkiel and Joanne Coates; his two nieces & seven nephews, Debbie, Julia, John, Chris, Mark, Trevor, David, William, Peter & Jeffrey. He was predeceased by one niece Tracey. He is also survived by several great-nieces & great-nephews.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York. Interment will be private at the discretion and convenience of his family.
