Guy F. Desmond
Obituary
Guy F. Desmond, a resident of Wingdale, NY, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2023; at the age of 59. He was born in Queens, NY on April 10, 1964. Guy enlisted in the United State Army November 20, 1990, and proudly served during the Gulf War as an Army Ranger until February 6, 1993 when he received an honorable discharge.
Guy worked for many years as a custodian at the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare – Castle Point Campus, he was a beloved friend to those that he worked with.
Guy is survived by his daughter Mazie Lee Whitmore. He was predeceased by his parents.
His Family & Friends will gather on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2-4pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY, where a prayer service will be offered at 3PM followed by Military Honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard.
