Frank White

Frank White, a longtime resident of Fishkill, NY, passed away on March 27, 2023 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY; he was 71 years old. He was born on July 9, 1951 in Harlem, NY son of the late Eva White. He attended public schools in the City of New York, and went on to college and obtained a Master’s degree from SUNY in Science Education. He was very proud and loved teaching in the Beacon City School District, and dedicated 33+ years to education.

In May 1991 he married Mary Medley in Beacon, New York and they built a life together. 

Frank found his new church home with Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, and was a faithful, active member for over 30 years. He was a member of the Deacon Board, and served on other various committees and choirs. He cherished and loved his church home. 

He leaves to cherish his memory. His wife Mary Medley; his children Ayasha White & Ahmad White; 3 step-children Richard Medley (Lauren), Robin Medley, Renee Powell; his sisters Dorothy Bourne, Audrey White & Bernice Jarrett; his nieces Leslie, Erica, Kim and Chrissy; his good friends Aubrey & Adlean Dennis. Along with a host of other relatives, friends and extended family.
 

His Family & Friends will gather for a Home-Going Service on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 2607 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, NY; viewing will be from 9-11am, with the service at 11am followed by interment to the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
