Obituary
Elinor A. Coleman, a lifelong Beacon resident and recent years of Wappingers Falls, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 11, 2023; she was 90 years old. She was born in Beacon, NY on April 25, 1932, daughter of the late Ralph & Amelia (Nicholls) Frost.
On August 18, 1951 at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Beacon, she married Ronald Coleman, who predeceased her after 58-years of marriage on December 21, 2009.She was also predeceased by her daughter Rhonda Galarza and a brother Richard Frost.
Elinor is survived by her daughter Nancy Birkler and her husband Scott, and grandchildren Stephanie & Scott Jr; Her son-in-law Luis Galarza, and grandsons Jonathan & Steven; her daughter Alice Breidhaupt, and granddaughters Christina & Tracey. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; also leaves behind a beloved four-legged companion Lance.
A Special thanks to her granddaughter Stephanie, who has been by her side even during her own health problems.
