Obituary
Edwin A. Schmidt, formerly of Brewster, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at his home in Beacon, NY; he was 75 years old. He was born in Oneonta, NY on December 24, 1946, son of the late John Sebastian & Mary Elizabeth (Tymeson) Schmidt.
Edwin worked as a wood furniture restorer in the Brewster area for many years. Ed enjoyed watching old westerns and he was a big fan of the NY Rangers. He was a kind and humble person.
Edwin is survived by his sister Joyce Moxley (Bill) of New Hill, NC, a brother Gene (Barbara) of Unadilla, NY a brother William of Dillon, SC, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special caregiver Tricia Emmons of Beacon, NY. He will be missed by all.
