Dhalia 'Dodi' R. Havens
Obituary
Dhalia R. "Dodi" Havens, a resident of Beacon, NY and formerly of New York City, was called home peacefully surrounded by her family on May 17, 2022, after a year-long battle with cancer; she was 55-years old. She was born on February 3, 1967 in New York, NY to Nancy and Richard P. Havens.
She was an active and influential member of the Greenwich Village community. Upon moving to Beacon, she became an even larger contributor to the people in her small part of the world. Dhalia received her Associates degree with honors in business and worked as a travel agent for 25 long and successful years.
Dhalia is survived by her mother Nancy; her two children Mario and Amanda; her nephew Nelson, her niece Jessica, and her grandson Ja'kai.
She will be greeted by her father, her sister Nancy, her grandson Samuel, as well as her partner Kim and many other loved ones as she makes her way home.
