David Noack

David Noack, 68, longtime Beacon resident, passed away on September 6, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1952 in Hackensack, NJ, son of the late Robert & Angelina (Canninzarro) Noack; he was raised in Lodi, NJ.

David received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1976 from Glassboro State College in Glassboro, NJ. He went onto Montclair State College in Montclair, NJ where he received a Master of Arts in Political Science in 1978.

David came to the Hudson Valley as a reporter for the Beacon/Newburgh Evening News, working there from 1982 until the newspaper folded in 1990.

David later worked for the Department of Defense for the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and retired as an Information Technology Specialist in February 2020.

David is survived by his wife Jean (Yanarella) Noack of Beacon, and brother Kenneth (Nancy) Noack of Chandler, AZ.

His Family and Friends will gather to remember His Life on Friday, September 10th from 3-6 pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY. The family has asked for memorial donations be made in David’s memory to the Mid-Hudson Animal Aid, 54 Simmons Lane, Beacon, NY 12508.
