Brenda Mae (Mandl) Oswald

Brenda Mae Oswald, 67, a longtime Beacon resident, recently of Troy, NY, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 5, 2021. She was born in Johnson City, NY on September 14, 1953, daughter of the late Frederick & Mary (Alger) Mandl.

Brenda worked for 10-years as an administrative aide at the Beacon High School in the Beacon City School District, until she retired.

Brenda enjoyed the time spent with her family. She loved to play bingo.

Brenda is survived by her daughter Ashley (Tim) Bartlett and her son Mark (Janine) Bauer; her two granddaughters, Victoria and Samantha Bauer. She is also survived by her two brothers Frederick Mandl Jr. and Douglas Mandl, sister Mary Jaworski, and several nieces & nephews.

Along with her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her husband, Jack J. Oswald sadly on December 25, 2016.

Her Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 6-8 pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a service will be held at 7pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of her family. Her Family has asked for memorial donations to be made to the Joan Nicole Prince Hospice Home, 22 Glenview Drive, Scotia, NY 12302.
