Ann Marie (Cucci) Currier

Ann Marie Currier, a life-long Beacon resident passed away on August 28, 2023 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie; at the age of 71. She was born in Beacon, NY on July 28, 1952, daughter of the late Aleck & Rose (Salvatore) Cucci.

On June 25, 1972, she married James L. Currier Sr., who survives her at home.

Ann worked as a dietitian in the early-80s at the Craig House in Beacon for many years; later she worked as a store clerk at the Pay/Half Store in Wappingers Falls, NY, until retiring.

Her family-passion in life was attending and participating in local car shows; Jim and her would never miss one. She also loved to bowl, and just being around her family.

Along with her husband of 51-years of marriage Jim Currier, Ann is survived by her five children: James L. Currier Jr., Charles Currier and wife Lisa, Chad Currier, Cindy Rivera and Lillian Martinez. Her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all whom she adored. She is also survived by her brother Alex Cucci and wife Toni, and nephew Mark Cucci and wife Analiza; and several cousins & friends.

Her Family will receive Friends on Tuesday September 5, 2023 from 2:00-4:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a prayer service will be offered during the evening visitation.
