Timothy Duff

Timothy Francis Duff, 70, a longtime Beacon resident, passed away suddenly on January 30, 2020 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on August 7, 1949 in Yonkers, NY, son of Helen Dee Duff and the late Frank Donald Duff. Tim worked as a correction officer for over 30-years at the Westchester County Correctional Facility in Valhalla, NY; he attained the title of Captain which he was extremely proud. Tim enjoyed spending his time in nature, down by the Hudson River and near Mount Beacon; his hobbies included hiking, fishing, camping and running. Along with his mother, Helen Duff; Tim is survived by his two sons, Timothy S. Duff and Brian M. Duff, and also his two granddaughters: Emily Duff & Ivy Duff. His Family & Friends will gather to remember His Life on Saturday, February 15th from 2-4pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a prayer service will be offered at 3pm.
