Richard W. Heady, Jr.

Richard W. Heady, Jr., formerly of Beacon and recently of Hopewell Junction, NY, passed away on December 21, 2023 at the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie; he was 63 years old. He was born in Beacon, NY on February 24, 1960, son of Stella E. (Knapp) Heady and the late Richard W. Heady Sr..

Richard had a love for cars and the holidays, particularly Christmas. He was known for fixing anything and helping others. Most importantly he loved and cared for his family, his children, grandchildren and everyone’s children.

 Along with his beloved mother Stella Heady, Richard is survived by his five children: Anne Cryeski, Haley Walter, Natalie Heady, Richard W. Heady III, and Gabriel Khan; his two granddaughters, Lily and Ayah; his wife Susan (McCormick) Heady. He is also survived by his two brothers, Joseph & William Heady, and several nieces, nephews & friends.

His Family & Friends will gather to remember His Life on Thursday, December 28^th from 4-8pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York. A Private Cremation will follow, and interment will be later at the convenience of His Family at the Fairview Cemetery, Beacon, New York.
