Raymond Bonse

Bonse, Raymond A. of Hopewell Junction, entered into rest Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at home. He was 89. Born April, 29, 1927 in Kingston, NY he was the son of the late John H. and Elvora Bonesteel Bonse. Raymond was retired Computer Operator with IBM East Fishkill and a member of St. Mary’s, Mother of the Church, Fishkill. He married the late Laura Prosser Bonse in Kingston, on April 21, 1946, she predeceased him December 3, 2011. Survivors include two children: Clara (Joseph) Eraca of Beacon, and Vernon R. (Aurelina) Bonse of New Windsor, three grandchildren, Jean Ayres, Joseph R. Eraca and Jessica Tornello, two great-grandchildren, John J. Tornello Jr. and Makenley Grace Tornello, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers, and one sister. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson St. Fishkill, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery.
