Peter J. Sava, Sr.

Peter J. Sava Sr., a life-long Yonkers resident passed away on January 18, 2024 at the St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, New York; at the age of 68. He was born in Yonkers, NY on August 4, 1955, son of the late Paul Anthony & Julia M. (Karlan) Sava.

Peter is survived by his daughter, Nicole Sava-Lassiter and her husband Justin; he was predeceased by his son Peter J. Sava Jr., on September 16, 2016. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Hope and Aidan Cleveringa, and Bryson Lassiter; his two brothers, John and Paul Sava; his two sisters, Mary and Judy Sava; and several nieces, nephews & friends

Along with his son, Peter was predeceased by two brothers, William ‘Billy’ and Nino Sava.

Peter enjoyed horse racing, and trips to the Yonkers Raceway.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York.
