Johanna (Papo) Farber

Johanna Farber, a lifelong Beacon resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Pawling, NY; at the age of 79. She was born in Beacon, NY on June 16, 1942, daughter of the late John & Teresa (Ireland) Papo. She attended the Beacon City Schools.

Johanna worked for several years as a nurse’s aide at the Butterfield Memorial Hospital in Cold Spring, NY. She enjoyed a few things during her life, mostly her animals and her family.

Johanna is survived by her three children: Christopher Farber, Wayne (Marina) Farber and Robin Farber-Resto; and her sister, Nancy Papo; her brother, Francis (Kim) Papo. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Along with her parents, Johanna was predeceased by her brother, John Papo.
