Jack Brilliant

Brilliant, Jack, a lifelong Beacon resident, entered into rest Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his home. He was 75. Born February 2, 1938 in Beacon, NY, he was the son of the late Eleanor Brilliant. Jack was a retired Engineering Manager for IBM, Poughkeepsie. On October 28, 1961, in St. Joachim’s Church, Beacon, he married Rose Marie Kelly. Mrs. Brilliant survives at home. A devoted New York Giants fan, Jack was also a member of St. Rocco’s Society, Beacon; The Kingston Moose Lodge; and The Anchorage Marina, Kingston. In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Kelly Jean Brilliant and her fiance, Michael Kim, of Brookline, MA, and Jaclyn Brilliant and her husband, Anthony Jenks, of Brooklyn, NY. Jack is also survived by two grandchildren, Madeline Brilliant Jenks and Josephine Brilliant Jenks. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Teller Ave, Beacon, NY, where, at 1:00 pm, funeral services will take place. Reverend Patty Rose will officiate. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill. Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
