Hester Plimley

Plimley, Hester P. of Beacon, entered into rest Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at home. She was 89. Born August 19, 1927 in Beacon, she was the daughter of the late George and Hester Josephine Potter Lewis. Hester was a retired Quality Control person with Fairchild in Wappingers Falls, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Beacon. Hester married Thomas Plimley on April 6, 1947 in Beacon, Thomas survives her at home. In addition to her husband she is survived by, three children, Susan and her husband Tim Leenhouts of Myrtle Beach, SC., Linda and her husband Gary La Plante of Kent, WA., Terry and her husband Dan VanVoorhis of Fishkill, nine grandchildren, Jeff, Mark, Kacey, Kerry, Jackie, Eric, Chris, Matt and Brian, nine great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, her Brother George Lewis. Visitation will be held Today, March 23, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon. Funeral services will take place Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill.
