Helen 'Chickie' F. Robertson

Helen ‘Chickie’ F. Robertson, 83, a longtime Beacon resident passed away on January 29, 2021 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was born in the Bronx, NY on June 29, 1937, daughter of the late Mark & Anna (McManus) McKinstry. Helen attended city-schools in the Bronx; married her husband, Alex Robertson, Jr; who predeceased her in 1989. Helen worked as a pharmaceutical technician at the Fishkill Correctional Facility in Beacon for many years until retiring in 2004. Helen or as she was affectionately known, Chickie, is survived by her son Dale Robertson and his wife Kelly; Her sister, Jean Lopes of Danbury, CT and her brother-in-law, George Robertson of NC; Her grandchildren: Xander and Mathew Robertson, Kyle Barrack, Alex Robertson IV; Her great-grandson Ty Robertson, and several other grand and great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her 2 son George ‘Mike’ Robertson in 1986; Alex Robertson III in 2008, and her daughter Debbie Robertson, both in 2008. Her Family will gather as she wished for a Cemetery Committal Service on Thursday, February 4, 2021 11:00AM at St. Joachim Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
