Hector Martinez

Martinez, Hector, of Beacon, NY, formerly of Peekskill, entered into rest Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Peekskill. He was 55. Born June 29, 1956 in Manhattan, NY. He was the son of the late Hector and Aurelia Saez Martinez. Hector was a Tractor Trailer Driver for City Carting, Yonkers, as well as a member of Teamsters Local #813. Survivors include his wife Doreen Engelsborn Martinez, at home, his two children, Stephen Martinez and his wife Andrea of Wappingers Falls, and Emily Martinez of Beacon, two sisters, Miriam Porter of Wappingers Falls, and Mercedes Travis of Milford MA, a brother; Oscar Velez of Adjuntas PR, three grandchildren, Kayleigh Martinez, Tyler Baxter, and Anna Marie Viano as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday Dec. 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY 12508 Funeral services will take place Saturday December 10, 2011 at 10:00 am at Libby Funeral Home, Inc.
