Hector Malave

Hector Malave of Wappingers Falls, passed away in his home on Aug. 10. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his mother: Mildred Ortiz, Carlos Rodriguez Sr., Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Mildred & David Albino and nieces and nephew: Elyse, Natalie and David Albino. Hector was a giving and caring person who often put others before himself. He sparked a love of anime, science and video-games in his nieces, nephew and great nephew. He was easy going and always loved to joke around. He couldn't stand to see others hurting and spent his life as a caregiver and EMT for the City of New York. Hector was an amazing person and he will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00pm.
