Eleanor Garrison

Garrison, Eleanor Hall, of Beacon, NY entered into rest Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, she was 85. Born November 9, 1926 in Ossining, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Katherine Miller Hall. She was the widow of the late George E. Garrison, who preceded her in death April 9, 2010. Mrs. Garrison was a retired receptionist for the Beacon High School Guidance Office, as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Slater Chemical Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Beacon. Eleanor had a great sense on humor and was a very loving mother. Survivors include her two children David L. Garrison and his wife Karen of Pacifica, CA and Kathleen Garrison and her wife Maryann Williams of Poughkeepsie. She was predeceased by a brother, LeRoy Hall, Jr. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, services will follow at 4:00 pm.
