Bobby Garcia

Bobby Garcia, 47, passed away peaceful at home on Monday, November 24, 2014. He spent his final days surrounded by family and friends. Bobby was born December 11, 1966 in the Bronx to his loving parents, the late Edwin Garcia and Luz Rivera. Bobby was an avid collector of decorative swords and Egyptian items. He also loved working with his hands. This love turned into a business as a self employed roofer/carpenter. He worked hard and would show off his finish projects with pride. Bobby was a kind, loving and very sensitive person. He always gave 100 % of himself with whatever he did. He is survived by his mother Luz Rivera of Wappingers falls, his four children: Leslie (Ron) Smallwood of St. Petersburgh, FL., Brandon Garcia of Tampa, FL., Alexis Garcia of St. Petersburgh, FL. and Tabitha Garcia of Jacksonville, FL., his brothers and sister: Edwin (Melanie) Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Levon Garcia, Damien Trujillo and Christina (Kemore) Thompson. Five grandchildren: Antonio, Angelo, Adrian, Ezekial and Sienna, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins whom will miss him dearly.He was predeceased by his father Edwin Garcia, his maternal grandfather Virgilio Rivera and three nephews that will welcome him home. Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Avenue Beacon NY., where at 8:00 pm funeral services will take place.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directly to Bobby's mother, Luz Rivera.Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
