Barbara Howley

Howley, Barbara Ann, of Beacon, entered into rest Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. She was 60. Born November 13, 1953 in Cold Spring, she was the daughter of the late David G. Supple and Regina Pennacchio Supple. On August 23, 1980 she married William P. Howley Jr., Mr. Howley Survives her at home. Barbara was an employee for the City of Beacon, a graduate with honors of Mount Saint Mary’s College, Newburgh, a member of Southern Dutchess Country Club, as well as a member of St. Joachim’s Catholic Church. Barbara was a dancer with Ballet Arts, Beacon. Survivors include her husband William P. Howley Jr., two sons Wilson David Howley of Beacon, and Joseph Supple Howley also of Beacon, her mother Regina Supple of Beacon, three sisters Christine Daly and her husband Jim of Poughkeepsie, Susan Wood and her husband Gary of Beacon, and Thomasine Supple of Beacon, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as one great-niece and one great-nephew. All of whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 3:30 to 7:30 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday December 13, at 11:00 am at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church Leonard St. Beacon. Father Vincent Howley will officiate. Inurnment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh will be private and at the convenience of the family.
