  5. Linda Griffith says:

    Dear Fran and family,
I am sorry to hear of Sam\’s passing. I enjoyed his letters and hearing of your wonderful family every Christmas. The few years I spent at Texaco involve the memories of some sweet people and Sam was one of those folks. I remember advice he often gave Don about work and relationships. He was a great worker and role model for Don. I hope the holidays have held much joy for you even though it is the first one without Sam. Our holiday without my Mom had its bittersweet moments. Linda, Kyra and Jenna Griffith
