Lois Tomlins

Tomlins, Lois Helen of Beacon, entered into rest Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her residence. She was 68.

Born October 14, 1946 in Beacon, NY, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Helen F. Beattie Sickler.

Lois was a retired School Crossing Guard for the Beacon Police Department.

Survivors include, a daughter, April Sickler and her companion Julius of Beacon, a stepson, Warren Tomlins (Natasha) of Middletown, two brothers, John F. Sickler (Anna) of Elkhorn NE, and Richard L. Sickler of Beacon, two grandchildren, Michael and Brooke Black, a nephew, Timothy Sickler, three Step-grandchildren, Mckenzie, Nicholas and Brianna Tomlins.

In addition to her parents Lois is predeceased by her husband David Tomlins, and a brother Gary J. Sickler.

A Graveside service will be held at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Beacon, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 12:00 pm.

    I was very sad to hear of Lois\’ passing. My deepest condolences to her family and everyone who had the chance to know her. She was our neighbor for many years and one of the first to welcome us when we purchased our home on Washington Ave. A holiday never passed that she didn\’t bring my children an Easter Basket, Valentine or Xmas gift. RIP Lois and God Speed.
