Jon Henion

Henion, Jon B. of Beacon, entered into rest Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Beacon. He was 21.
Born November 6, 1993 in Poughkeepsie, he is the son of Linda McGowan.
Jon was formerly a Mason with Shriver Job Corps., Devens, MA.
Jon had a great love of the outdoors. Jon enjoyed camping with his family, Hanging out with his friends, fishing, being by the ocean, playing his guitar, beating on his drums, hiking with his brothers, and playing with his brothers dogs. Jon also loved to fix things, it didn’t matter what it was he would fix it. Jon had a unique way of making things. Jon will always be our ‘Little Macgyver’. Jon loved his family and friends very much.
Survivors include his mother Linda McGowan & her Fiance Don Vawter of Beacon, his three brothers; Christopher, Timothy & James Henion all of Beacon, his maternal
grandparents Ruth & Charles McGowan of Catskill, as well as many loving aunts, uncles & cousins.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, July 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Animal Rescue Foundation (A.R.F.), Simmons Lane Beacon, NY 12508.
