Carangi, Joan of Beacon, entered into rest Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Elant at Fishkill. She was 80.
Born December 30, 1933 in Beacon, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Exilda Lange Boulanger.
Joan was a retired Processor for M & T Bank, Fishkill.
She was the widow of the late Frank Carangi.
Survivors include her daughter Gail and her husband Juan Vasquez of Beacon, her sister Yvonne and her husband Cal Lawrence of Wappingers Falls, four grandchildren, Juan Carlos, Bill, Adrian and Daniela Vasquez, nine great-grandchildren, William, Brooke, Isabel, Adrian, Allie, Brandon, Raymond, Danny and Sadie, a nephew Calvin Lawrence, and a niece Annettia Gigliotti.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert Wood, and a brother Robert Lange.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY, where, at 8:00 pm funeral services will take place.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
