I’d like to send my condolences to Tony’s Mom Ms. Barbara and Tony’s Dad Mr. Gerardes, Roxanne and family. I’m truly sorry for your loss, May God hold all of you tight and keep you strong. Tony was a very special person, he was loved by many, Thank you for sharing Tony with us all, I know that I was truly blessed to have him in my life, His heart was like gold. I know that you’re so proud of him and I am too. He’s going to have to finish what he came here to do, in Heaven. I know he’s happy in Heaven, He loved God so much, always praying for others more than he prayed for himself. Tony will truly be missed, Love you Tony, Sylese

  3. Leslie and Jean Dorsinville says:

When we think of ‘little’ Tony, we can’t help thinking of Tony at 6 months old in a carriage pushed by his mom and meeting another mother pushing her year old daughter crossing path on Clarkson Ave, Brooklyn. Thus began a life long friendship between mothers and children. Tony was a regular at our house, ate and slept for the first seven years of his life. It’s logical to conclude that we called him ‘son.’ Needless to say that the call we received from Barbara on January 10 shocked us to our very core…it was not suppose to be. For months he would call the house religiously to speak to ‘aunt Leslie’ thanking her for all she has done. He would end each call by saying: ‘Let’s pray aunt Les…I love you.’ The last card we received from Tony wishing aunt Les happy birthday, he wrote: ‘To the best aunt in the whole wide world, God bless you, love you aunt Les and give a kiss to uncle Jean.’

    Rest in Peace Tony.

    To My Son Tony,
Words can never describe my feelings of how much you are missed. You left without saying goodbye. I waited for you’re morning call, it never came. I got worried thinking what could have happened, morning pass afternoon pass no call, then came evening and I got the news that you had went home to your better place like you would have said. Your last words to me were ‘ don’t worry ma god has me covered, I will speak to you later love you.’ My life would be empty without you. I love and miss you very much, but those little talks that we had everyday would keep me going. God has lend you to me he changed your life style to his liking and then he called you home. I know that you are very happy in your better place, you did your deeds you always love and respect people and also know how to make us laugh. Now may you RIP in Jesus’s arms. I love you very much my son, bye for now until we meet again. Your mom
