Irene Rokitowski

Rokitowski, Irene F. of Beacon, entered into rest Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 85.

Born May 10, 1931 in Beacon, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Delphine TenEyck Garrison.

Irene was the widow of the late Robert Rokitowski Sr., who predeceased her August 4, 1983.

Survivors include, her five children, Robert Rokitowski Jr. (Patricia) of Wappingers Falls, Karen Rokitowski (Jodi Cavanaugh) of Newburgh, Thomas Rokitowski (Mary) of Beacon, Joseph Rokitowski (Mary) of Poughkeepsie and Krisanne Elwood (Robert) of Beacon, 13 grandchildren, Leigh (Piotr), Stephanie, Scott (Dana), Emily, Michael (Erika), Daniel, Steven (Victoria), Brian, Teresa, Nicole, Sarah, Liam and Riley, three great-grandchildren, Magdalin, Makenzie and Presley, a god-daughter Roxanne Meyer as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brother, William, Harry and Ralph, four sisters, Henrietta, Dorothy, Adele and Ruth, and a great-granddaughter Ryleigh.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon.

Services will take place Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Libby funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 45 Crown St. Kingston, NY 12401
