My grandfather started calling me cookie out of the blue, so after a few years I said granddaddy who's cookie and he said with a straight face " ain't that your name" all I could do was laugh!

My grandfather was the funniest man I knew, once when I was living with him and annoyed him he said "cookie how long you been here" I said about 7 months and he looked at me and said " I thought you were coming for the weekend"
